The Assemblage Art Fund is a new grant initiative designed to support artists and collectives working in Salt Lake County. Developed by the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, the Assemblage Art Fund aims to fuel experimentation, expand access, and strengthen the region’s independent visual arts ecosystem. In its first year, the Assemblage Art Fund will award 6–12 grants of $5,000 or $10,000 to support projects that are collaborative in spirit, alternative in form, and publicly accessible. Assemblage prioritizes projects that push beyond traditional formats and engage new or underrepresented audiences. From pop-up exhibitions and artist-led publications to experimental performances and site-responsive installations, the fund supports visual art in its most expansive sense.
